Detectives investigating a reported stabbing in the Wheatley area of Doncaster last month have released an e-fit image of two men they are keen to identify.

At around 8.15pm on 11 April 2019, it is reported that a man and a woman walking their dog crossed a road close to Wheatley Park when a passenger inside a silver 4x4 shouted at them for walking too slowly. The pair challenged the occupants of the vehicle, which resulted in two men getting out of the car and attacking the couple.

The man was stabbed in the lower back, and the woman dropped a set of keys which was subsequently stolen by the offenders who drove off in the direction of the Intake estate.

Police have released two e-fit images of men they are keen to identify.

An investigation is ongoing and police are appealing for any information which would assist with their enquiries. If you think you may know who the offenders are, or if you saw or heard anything suspicious on the evening of 11 April, get in touch by calling 101 and quoting incident number 915 of 11 April 2019.
