Man arrested in connection with Doncaster murder

A fourth person has been arrested by officers investigating the death of Tom Bell in Doncaster.

A 37-year-old man was arrested yesterday (Saturday 26 January) on suspicion of assisting an offender in relation to murder. He has since been bailed pending further enquiries.

A 21-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender remains released under investigation.

Two men, aged 28 and 29, have been charged with murder and remanded in custody. Legal proceedings are ongoing.

Tom Bell, 21, was shot and killed during an incident at the Maple Tree pub on Plantation Road, Balby, at around 8.45pm on Thursday 17 January.
