Further arrests in Tom Bell murder investigation

Detectives investigating the death of 21-year-old Doncaster man Tom Bell have made two further arrests.

Last night (Thursday 31 January), a 51-year-old woman from Balby and a 33-year-old man from Edlington were arrested, both on suspicion of assisting an offender in relation to murder. Both have been bailed as enquiries continue.

Mr Bell was shot during an incident at the Maple Tree pub on Plantation Road, Balby at around 8.45pm on Thursday 17 January. He died shortly after.

A total of seven arrests have been made during the investigation so far, with two men charged and remanded with Mr Bell’s murder.
