Thousands of people are expected in the Steel City to help the festival celebrate its tenth birthday in its new home in Hillsborough Park, and to sample The Fringe at Tramlines event that’s taking place in the Peace Gardens, Barkers Pool and Devonshire Green in the city centre.
Whether it’s Noel Gallagher’s High-Flying Birds, Stereophonics, Craig David or any of the other acts you’re looking forward to, we want everyone to stay safe and have a great time from this afternoon through to the festival’s close on Sunday evening.
We have officers working across the city to assist Tramlines and Sheffield City Council in keeping people safe. Please don’t hesitate to approach our cops, ask questions or let them know if you see any suspicious behaviour.
You can always #copaselfie and share it with us on social media to show us how you’re getting into the festival spirit!
