NPCC Lead for Problem Solving, South Yorkshire Police Chief Constable, Lauren Poultney congratulates the winners, “I would like to personally congratulate all five winners. All the projects are of an exceptional calibre, and it is wonderful to see how problem solving methodology is being used across all areas of policing to address the root cause of a problem and improve the services we provide to our communities.
“I’d also like to thank everyone else who entered a submission to the awards. There were over 100 projects entered this year, which truly highlights how knowledge and practical use of problem solving has grown over recent years and become further embedded as a core pillar in policing.
“I’m looking forward to viewing all the winning projects presentations and finding out who the overall winner will be.”
The 2023 Tilley Award winner will be announced on Wednesday 4th October at the National Problem Solving Conference gala dinner.
