Update regarding Ben Needham case

South Yorkshire Police, supported by Interpol, has received confirmation that a DNA sample of the body found in the River Danube in Germany does not match that of Ben Needham.

Ben’s family has been informed and are being supported.

Our thoughts remain with the young boy who is yet to be identified and, of course, the Needham family who continue in their search for answers.
