Police in Sheffield are appealing for information following a reported assault in Gleadless last month.

At around 5pm on Friday 2 June, officers were called to Gleadless Road following reports a woman had been assaulted near to Newfield Green shops. A 31-year-old woman is believed to have suffered head injuries after being hit with a pint glass.

Officers believe there were a number of witnesses to the assault, as the area was busy, and are now asking those witnesses to come forward.
