Police appeal for information following Rotherham robbery

Police in Rotherham are appealing for information following a robbery in Brampton Brierlow.

It is reported that at around 4.20am this morning (Friday 11 June) a woman was attacked by a man as she returned to her car after using a cash machine in Knollbeck Lane.

The victim was pushed to the ground before the man grabbed her keys and drove away in her blue Peugeot 206.

The man was described as White, 6ft, wearing a black hoodie and dark jeans and spoke with a Yorkshire accent.

Police want to hear from anyone with information that might help our officers in their investigation.  Were you in the area at the time? Did you see or hear anything suspicious? Do you know who might be responsible?
