A Hull man has been charged with causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving in connection to a collision on the M1 where two men sadly died.
Prezemyslaw Zbigniew Szuba, 40, of Kingston Upon Hull has been charged with two counts of causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving.
The charges related to road traffic collision on the M1 on June 7 2019. At around 8.15am, there was a three vehicle collision on the northbound carriageway near junction 34, just north of the Tinsley Viaduct.
This involved a silver Ford Focus, a silver Ford transit van and a lorry. Two men, 44-year-old Jason Mercer and 22-year-old Alexandru Murgeanu were sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr Szuba will appear before Sheffield Magistrates Court in September 2020.
