Officers investigating a reported shooting in the Darnall area of Sheffield made two arrests yesterday (13 January).
Emergency services were called to Stainforth Road just before 5pm on 4 January, where a 28-year-old man was found with an injury to his upper body. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Yesterday, we arrested a 22-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, both from Darnall, on suspicion of attempted murder. The 22-year-old has since been bailed and the 17-year-old remains in police custody.
We are continuing to appeal for witnesses and would urge anyone to contact us if they know anything about what happened that evening.
