Detectives investigating an incident in which a teenager was the victim of a robbery in the Sprotbrough area of Doncaster have released an e-fit of a man they want to identify.

At around 8.35pm on Thursday 15 November 2018, it is reported that a 15-year-old boy was riding his bike along Melton Road, Sprotbrough. At the junction with Park Drive, it is understood that two unknown men tackled the teenager off his bike, causing him to fall to the floor.

The men are then said to have assaulted the boy, before attempting to steal his phone. The suspects left the area in a car, described as a dark blue Honda, possible from 2003-2005, stealing the victim’s Giant Glory bike.

The teenager was not seriously injured during the incident but was understandably left incredibly shaken.

Following an initial appeal for witnesses, officers have now released this e-fit image of a man they would like to identify in connection with the incident.

Both suspects are described as wearing black coats and grey tracksuit bottoms.

Do you know who the man is? If you have any information that could help, please call 101 quoting incident number 383 of 15 November 2018.
