Your Voice Counts survey

As part of our ongoing consultation with local communities, the Your Voice Counts survey is delivered quarterly to around 6,000 randomly-selected households in South Yorkshire, to help us understand the policing issues that are important to residents.

The survey allows local people to have their say on crime, antisocial behaviour and other policing issues, as well as giving feedback on the service we provide and our visibility across the county.

Victim Satisfaction Surveys

During the course of the year we conduct a number of telephone surveys with victims of crime to help us understand the level of service we are providing to victims and how we can improve it. Surveys are carried out by the independent research company SMSR Ltd on our behalf, with data processed in full accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Surveys for certain types of crime are also carried out on our behalf by Leicestershire Police’s telephone research bureau.

If you receive a call and have any doubts about its validity please leave a message on our survey answerphone line 0114 2963823 or contact us via email at pru@southyorks.pnn.police.uk, and we will contact you as soon as possible during office hours.
