Two men seriously injured in single car collision, Sheffield

Two men, aged 20 and 21, are currently in hospital after sustaining serious injuries in a collision on Rivelin Valley Road, Sheffield in the early hours of this morning (Saturday 15 July).

At around 4.55am it was reported that a red Volvo V50, travelling along Rivelin Valley Road towards Manchester Road, failed to negotiate a bend in the road and collided with a tree.

A 20-year-old man driving the car suffered serious injuries while a 21-year-old man who was a passenger in the car suffered serious and potentially life-changing injuries.

Both remain in hospital at this time.
