Man seriously injured in Conisbrough collision

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in the Conisbrough area of Doncaster, in which the vehicle reportedly failed to stop.

Between 7.45pm and 8.15pm on Friday 5 January, it is reported that a 60-year-old pedestrian and an unknown vehicle were involved in a collision in Old Road, Conisbrough.

The man was walking between the Hilltop pub and Conisbrough village at the time of the collision.

He was taken to hospital with serious facial injuries.

The vehicle reportedly failed to stop at the scene and officers are keen to trace the driver and any witnesses to the collision.
