Police have released an e-fit image of a man they want to trace, in relation to some inappropriate comments allegedly made to a 54-year-old woman.

The woman, who came forward to report the incident last week, is said to have been walking along Harbord Road in the Woodseats area of Sheffield at about 6.30pm on Friday 9 December, towards the Spar shop on Abbey Lane.

As the woman walked down Harbord Road, approaching the junction of Abbey Lane, an unknown man is said to have approached and asked for directions, before the woman continued towards the shop.

A short time later, the woman left the shop and began walking back towards Harbord Road. She then saw the same man stood at the corner of Harbord Road, at the junction with Abbey Lane.

It is reported that the man approached the woman before making inappropriate comments to the her.

The woman was not injured during the incident.

The man is described as in his early-mid 30s, of a large build, about 5ft 10ins tall and spoke with a strong Sheffield accent. He is thought to have been wearing a dark grey three quarter length anorak, dark casual trousers and white trainers.
